Despite deep suspicion of the whole Blog phenomenon, I have nevertheless decided to use this space to collate stuff which strikes me as being notable for one reason or another.

In my daily headlong blunder through life I occasionally run up against something which startles me from my introspection with a jolt of emotion, or more often pain. Little snippets of information which somehow suddenly throw the entire mêlée of modern human living into stark perspective. Other times I just see things I like and want to remember. This site is first and foremost for my own creative enjoyment.
